Careers
We’re not hiring yet — but we will be.
Small team building serious software for the people who run independent stores.
Incline is a small company building vertical software for independent fuel and convenience-store operators. The big chains have entire engineering teams behind their back-office tools — pricing engines, inventory systems, shift schedulers. Independents get spreadsheets. We think that gap is absurd, and we’re closing it.
Right now we’re heads-down building alongside a small group of operators who shape every feature before it ships. We don’t have open roles today, but when the work demands another set of hands we’ll hire — and we’d rather find someone who’s already paying attention.
The kind of person who thrives here is someone who has worked behind a counter — or with people who do — or who at minimum gets fired up by the distance between what enterprise software gives big chains and what independents are stuck with.
What we’d want from you
- You ship. You’d rather put something real in front of an operator than polish a spec for another week.
- You treat operator time as sacred — every minute we waste is a minute they’re not running their store.
- You’d rather sit in a stockroom for a day than write a deck about one.
- You can hold the whole problem in your head — from the database schema to the person scanning cigarettes at 6 a.m.
- You don’t need a title to take ownership, and you don’t need permission to fix what’s broken.
