About Incline
Built for the people behind the counter.
Vertical software for independent fuel and convenience-store operators — the ones running real stores, not spreadsheets.
If you run a chain of two hundred stores, you have an entire back-office suite built for you. Enterprise pricing engines, dedicated account managers, custom integrations with your distributor, your POS, your tank monitors. The software was designed around your scale, and it shows.
If you run one store, or three, or twelve, you get the leftovers. You get the same spreadsheets your parents used. You get a stack of disconnected logins, each one solving a narrow problem badly. You get tools that were never built for the way you actually work — behind the counter, between deliveries, at five in the morning before the school buses start.
Independent operators move more fuel, sell more cigarettes, and employ more people than most of the chains.
We started Incline because that gap didn’t make sense to us — software that understands a walk-in cooler and a fuel island and a shift change and a vendor invoice are all the same business.
So we’re building one system that connects all of it. Pricing, inventory, invoicing, shifts, accounting — built together from the start, not bolted on later. Built for operators, tested by operators, shaped by the real work that happens between open and close.
Built for the work, not the pitch.
Every feature has to survive a simple test: would an operator use this at 6 a.m. with a line at the register? If we can’t defend it to someone behind the counter, we cut it.
One system, not twenty logins.
Pricing, inventory, invoicing, and shifts belong together. We build them as one product so the data flows and the operator doesn’t have to be the integration layer.
Time saved is time at home.
The hours an operator spends reconciling spreadsheets are hours away from their family and their store. Every minute we give back matters more than any dashboard.
We’re early. We’re building alongside a small group of operators who are shaping the product with us — telling us what matters, what doesn’t, and where the real pain is.
If you run independent stores and want software that was actually built for the way you work, we’d love to talk.
